I've been having a differently inflected summer. My expectations were that an amplified Alaskan summer sun would be the "D" I needed to continue my ADHD journey, however it has been replaced by the D in the Demerol I've been subjected to now twice--shattered clavicle and diverticulitis.
(oh, how it is that I love Demerol--fucking scary, really)
Things have not been as sunny as I'd like them to be.
My GP says:
Be thoughtful and kind to yourself
Don't push too much, rest
Seek less stimulation
Let the body and mind coexist nicely
Whole heartedness is key
Sounds like a prescription for healing to me.
